REASI, SEPTEMBER 20: The spirit of service, community participation, and collective responsibility continued to shine on the fourth day of Seva Parv 2025 in district Reasi.
The celebrations, being held under the overall supervision of Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Ms. Nidhi Malik, witnessed a wide range of activities with enthusiastic participation from government departments, educational institutions, social organizations, and the general public. The initiatives reflected a strong commitment towards cleanliness, environmental conservation, healthcare, and social welfare.
The Animal Husbandry Department, in collaboration with Cross Swords Gunners, organized a veterinary and medical camp at Pony Dispensary, Banganga, extending essential healthcare services to both animals and the local community.
The Rural Development Department carried out extensive plantation drives across all 153 Panchayats, with a special focus on 57 Amrit Sarovars, promoting greenery and ecological balance.
The Education Department mobilized 803 schools, engaging 48,983 students and 1,976 teachers in plantation drives, thereby instilling values of environmental protection, community service, and social responsibility among the younger generation.
Similarly, the Poshan Project Office, Reasi organized awareness programmes on PMMVY, Healthy Nutrition Recipe, and Swasth Naari Sashakt Parivaar, alongside a plantation drive at Bhaga Poshan Project under the banner of Seva Parv 2025.
The Social Welfare Department, Reasi conducted engaging activities at Child Care Institute, Parisha Home, Reasi, where children created drawings and posters on the theme “My Rights, My Future”. Indoor sports activities including Carrom, Chess, Ludo and Badminton were also organized, along with a motivational talk on moral values. Similar activities were also conducted at CCI Palash, Mahore.
A series of initiatives by different departments added to the momentum of Seva Parv 2025, making the fourth day in Reasi a meaningful celebration of service, awareness, and community well-being.
