DODA, DECEMBER 30: Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh today flagged off a consignment of recycled school desks to Government Girls Higher Secondary School Bhaderwah provided by SBI Cards and Payment Services Limited under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
The recycled school desks were dispatched from Doda to equip the school with improved infrastructure for students through eco-friendly means.
The flag-off ceremony was held in the presence of Additional District Development Commissioner, Roshan Lal; Additional Deputy Commissioner, Anil Kumar Thakur; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Ashraf Parvez; Chief Planning Officer, Manesh Kumar and Chief Education Officer, Iqbal Hussain besides other district officers and officials.
The Deputy Commissioner appreciated the CSR initiative of SBI Cards and Payment Services Limited, highlighting that such collaborations play a vital role in promoting sustainable development, resource conservation and quality education.
The DC reiterated the district administration’s resolve to strengthen government schools through innovative, sustainable and student-centric initiatives, while encouraging greater participation of corporate institutions and social organizations in supporting education, environmental protection and inclusive development in the district.
