Srinagar, Jun 12 : In a bid to share their bit in eradicating the drug menace from the society, the youngsters from Srinagar have come up with a Gymnasium at Khayam Chowk here with an aim to ensure healthy society on the ground.
According to the news agency, the gym was inaugurated today by Secretary Sports Council, Nuzhat Gull, who stated that such measures would likely help the society to eradicate the drug menace.
“The government has been putting efforts to attract more and more people towards the sports, and such ventures at the same time are giving a further push to the motive of having a drug-free society,” she said.
Royal Wellness Gym, owned by Owais Regu and Dafiq Batoo at Batoo Square Khayam Chowk has come up with an aim to share a bit towards ensuring drug free society.
“A large number of youngsters are getting indulged in drug abuse and the number is increasing with each passing day, but the gym would help us to stop the youth, especially around the locality from the menace,” the owners said.
They added they will achieve their goal if they will be able to save only a single person from getting indulged in drug abuse.
“We are here to ensure a healthy society and put an end to the drugs that have ruined hundreds of lives so far,” they said and appealed to the people to join the gym to stay healthy and fit to achieve their goals with enthusiasm
