RAMBAN, DECEMBER 12: Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Gool, Imtiaz on Friday convened an extensive public grievance redressal camp at Femrote in Block Sangaldan.
The initiative was aimed at providing an effective platform for residents to voice their concerns, seek assistance and engage with the administration in an open and transparent manner.
The camp witnessed an overwhelming response from locals, reflecting expectations from the Sub-Division administration Gool and their confidence in the grievances redressal mechanism. The large turnout highlighted the community’s eagerness to participate in governance and collaborate with officials to resolve long-pending issues.
Naib Tehsildar Sangaldan, Mohammed Qayoom, BDO Sangaldan Mohammed Irfan, BMO GooL, Dr Mohammed Iqbal, CDPO Gool, Bashir Ahmed Malik, besides officials from Agriculture, Sericulture, Fisheries, PDD, Health, ICDS, PWD, Horticulture, Sheep Husbandry and Animal Husbandry, Revenue, Rural Development, Jal Shakti were present on the occasion. Their participation ensured comprehensive on-the-spot responses to departmental concerns raised by the public.
During the interaction, residents put forth issues related to road connectivity, power and water supply, health services, agricultural support and welfare schemes. The presence of diverse departmental teams enabled many grievances to be addressed immediately, while others were noted for early resolution.
The SDM reaffirmed the administration’s dedication to transparency, urgency and accountability. He assured that all genuine grievances will be addressed strictly as per norms and necessary directions have already been issued to concerned departments for timely follow-up.
The SDM emphasized that such outreach camps will continue across the subdivision to ensure that governance reaches every doorstep, especially in remote and far-flung areas. He also appreciated the active participation of the locals and encouraged them to remain engaged with the administration for better developmental outcomes.
