BANDIPORA, SEPTEMBER 25: In a significant step towards strengthening grassroots governance and citizen empowerment, Seva Kendras have been established and inaugurated in all 31 villages across six blocks of district Bandipora under the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan.
The initiative is aimed at bringing government services closer to the people and ensuring enhanced accessibility, transparency, and inclusivity in service delivery. The Seva Kendras will function as single-window platforms where citizens can conveniently access various government schemes, services, and welfare initiatives.
Officials on the occasion said that the Seva Kendras have been envisioned to empower rural communities by creating a participatory environment where citizens can play an active role in governance and development.
These Seva Kendras will facilitate access to Village and Panchayat Responsive Governance Groups, build the capacity of villagers, and disseminate information related to the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan and other government schemes and policies. They will also serve as platforms for discussions on implementation of schemes, assistance to citizens in availing benefits, and grievance redressal.
Besides, the Kendras will promote community engagement to foster participation and awareness, while also ensuring convergence of schemes to improve service delivery at the grassroots level.
With the operationalisation of Seva Kendras, district Bandipora has taken a decisive step towards responsive, inclusive, and participatory governance in line with the vision of the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan.
