Shah Fayaz, President of Jammu and Kashmir Employees Coordination Committee (JKECC) and Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Association (JKTA), received a warm welcome, highlighting his position as the National Secretary of the Indian Public Service Employees Federation (IPSEF). Shah Fayaz is a trade union leader based in Kashmir and is pleading the cause of employees of all the cadres in general and teaching fraternity in particular. He has been pleading for the National issues like restoration of old pension scheme and other perennial and non perennial issues confronting the employees of all the cadres. His stance on OPS pleaded for a broader goal of ensuring fair and just policies for the employees who have been devoid of the benefit . The Organisations seek to secure the financial well-being and stability of employees, emphasizing the importance of restoring the pension system to its previous form.
A notable concern highlighted by Fayaz pertains to the CPWs (Contractual/Contingent Paid Workers) who, according to him, face exploitation and a violation of minimum wage standards. His tireless dedication is evident in his around-the-clock efforts to address both perennial and non-perennial issues faced by various groups, including Regularized Rehbar-e-Taleem (RRETs), Rehbar-e-Taleem (RETs), and general employees.
The gathering, attended by prominent leaders from across the country, recognized Shah Fayaz’s dedicated service and leadership roles in various capacities. His contributions to the betterment of employees both regionally and nationally, have been acknowledged with admiration.
