RAMBAN, JULY 28: Special camps were conducted across the district under the supervision of the District Election Officer (Deputy Commissioner), Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary under 2nd Special Summary Revision, 2024 of Photo Electoral Rolls.
On the directions of the District Election Officer (DEO), various designated officers of District Administration today conducted an extensive tour of AC-54-Ramban and AC-55 Banihal and other various polling stations to take stock of progress on registration of eligible voters during Special Camps organized at Polling Stations across the district.
During the visit the Tehsildars and other officers interacted with BLOs and instructed them to ensure 100% enrollment of new and eligible voters during this Special Summary Revision.
They also instructed them to conduct house to house visits to identify the unregistered eligible youth as voters with special focus on bridging the gender gap, besides mapping up of PwD voters.
Sensitizing the people with regard to registration of unregistered eligible youth as voters, they also appealed to them to cooperate with the BLOs of their respective areas.
