Kupwara: Body of an 18-year-old boy was on Thursday evening found hanging in Shumriyal of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district, official sources said.
They told GNS that one Saqib Ahmad Khan, son of Wafadar Khan was shifted to SDH Kupwara after being found hanging from the ceiling at his home. The doctors on assessing the boy declared him as brought dead on arrival, they said.
Confirming the death of the boy, a police official told GNS that they have lodged a case into the matter for due investigations.
Notably, the fresh incident has come in less than two days after a 25-year-old youth was found hanging at his home in Gutlipora Haihama area of the district. (GNS)
