Tiranga Yatra organised in Chowki Choura to celebrate spirit of patriotism

JAMMU, AUGUST 11: Sub-Divisional Magistrate Chowki Choura Ankush Hans in collaboration with educational institutions and community members successfully organised a Tiranga Yatra today as part of the ongoing celebrations of Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.

The Yatra commenced from Government Higher Secondary School, Chowki Choura and concluded at Shaheed Gurdeep Singh Filling Station, paying tribute to the nation’s martyrs and spreading the message of unity and national pride. Students, teachers, locals, shopkeepers besides officers/officials from Revenue, Health, PWD, RDD, PHE, Education etc. enthusiastically participated, holding the tricolour high and chanting patriotic slogans.

The march not only honoured the sacrifices of India’s freedom fighters but also inspired the youth to uphold the values of integrity, harmony and service to the nation.

Speaking at the event, the SDM lauded the participation of students and locals, emphasising the importance of remembering the sacrifices of heroes of the Indian freedom struggle.
