KULGAM, JANUARY 01: One-day training program for Resource Persons nominated by various Government Departments for the IEC (Information, Education and Communication) Campaign against Drug Abuse was conducted today here at conference hall Mini-secretariat Kulgam.
The programme aimed to sensitise and equip the nominated Resource Persons with effective communication strategies, awareness tools, and coordinated approaches to further strengthen the campaign against drug abuse.
During the training, participants were briefed on the objectives of the IEC campaign, the harmful effects of drug abuse on individuals and society, and the pivotal role of inter-departmental coordination in disseminating awareness at the grassroots level.
Interactive sessions and deliberations were held to enhance the capacity of the Resource Persons to function as effective change agents within their respective departments and communities.
