Srinagar, May 14 : WHS Sports Hub, sports facility in Kashmir, is all set to come up with WHS Sports Hub Golf Cup 2024, marking a significant milestone in the region’s sporting landscape.

Inspired by the famed Ryder Cup format, this tournament is the first-ever golf event in the region, adding a new dimension to the Indian golfing calendar.

Scheduled to take place at the royal spring golf course in Srinagar on May 25th and 26th, 2024, the event promises to revolutionize golfing in Jammu & Kashmir.

As per the details available with the news agency, the brainchild of Farid Singh and Viraj Singh, national-level sportsmen turned entrepreneurs, WHS Sports Hub aims to elevate sports culture in Kashmir through innovative initiatives.

“We are thrilled to introduce the WHS Sports Hub Golf Cup 2024, the first of its kind in Jammu & Kashmir,” said Viraj Singh, adding through this tournament, they aim to not only showcase the rich potential of golf in the region but also foster a spirit of sportsmanship and community.

Pertinently, WHS Sports Hub, established in 2022, has quickly emerged as the go-to destination for sports enthusiasts in Kashmir.

From FIFA-approved football pitches to ICC-approved cricket nets and pickle ball courts, the facility offers state-of-the-art infrastructure to nurture talent and promote sports at all levels
