JAMMU, November 19: Principal Secretary Culture, Brij Mohan Sharma today flagged a group more than 500 students for heritage to commemorate the celebrations of World Heritage Week 2025.

The week long celebrations are organised by Department of Archives, Archaeology & Museums, during which various activities aimed at sensitizing the masses towards the preservation and protection of our vast and rich heritage will be held across Jammu and Kashmir.

The department, as part of these celebrations, also organised a happiness camp in collaboration with the Art of Living Foundation in the heritage lawn of Jammu’s pride – Mubarak Mandi.

The walk resounded with slogans like “Love Heritage, Save Heritage.”
Director, AA&M, Kuldeep Krishan Sidha said that these activities are a precursor to ensuring readiness and awareness among youngsters, not only to cherish and protect monuments but also to preserve local languages and dishes.
