SHOPIAN, JULY 30: A zonal level programme was today organised under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) scheme at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Kapran in Zone Vehil.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of students and the presence of educationists, officials, and community members, and featured special talks by experts who sensitised the audience about the objectives and importance of the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme.
Emphasis was laid on educating and empowering the girl child as a vital step towards building a progressive and inclusive society. Speakers encouraged community participation in supporting girl education and ensuring gender equality.
As part of the programme, Essay & Slogan Writing and Painting Competitions were held and participants were felicitated with certificates and mementoes as a token of appreciation.
The event served as a meaningful platform to spread awareness and reinforce the collective responsibility of society in nurturing and supporting the girl child.
