DEO Kulgam chairs meeting on Revision of Panchayat Electoral Roll

KULGAM, MARCH 14: District Election Officer (DEO) Kulgam, Shahzad Alam today chaired a meeting regarding the Revision of Panchayat Electoral Roll 2026 and Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Electoral Rolls at the Meeting Hall of DC Office-cum-Mini Secretariat, Kulgam.

The meeting reviewed the preparations and modalities for the revision process and emphasized effective coordination among concerned departments for smooth conduct of the exercise.

The DEO emphasized that accurate and updated electoral rolls are crucial for strengthening grassroots democracy and directed all stakeholders to strictly adhere to the prescribed timelines.

Officers present in the meeting included, Additional District Development Commissioner, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Joint Director Planning , Deputy District Election Officer,

Assistant Commissioner Revenue Kulgam, Assistant Commissioner Development Kulgam, Tehsildars of D.H. Pora, Kulgam, Pahloo, Devsar, Qaimoh, Frisal and Yaripora, besides Block Development Officers of Kulgam, D.H. Pora, D.K. Marg, Manzgam, Pombay, Pahloo, Devsar, Qaimoh and Frisal.
