BUDGAM, JUNE 19: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Budgam, Mehraj-ud-Din Shah, today chaired a review meeting at the Conference Hall Budgam to finalize arrangements for the smooth conduct of the NEET-2026 examination in the district.
The NEET-2026 examination, being conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), is scheduled to be held at six designated examination centres across Budgam district.
The meeting was attended by the CMO Budgam, ARTO, Exen KPDCL Budgam, representatives of the NTA, all Centre Magistrates, Centre Superintendents, and other concerned officers.
During the meeting, the ADC took a detailed review of the preparedness and arrangements being put in place for the examination. Detailed discussions were held on key aspects including security arrangements, traffic regulation, transportation facilities, deployment of staff, and availability of basic amenities at all examination centres.
The ADC emphasized the importance of close coordination among all concerned departments to ensure the smooth, secure, and transparent conduct of the examination. He stressed strict adherence to the guidelines issued by the NTA and called for maintaining a conducive environment for candidates appearing in the examination.
He further directed all concerned officers to ensure timely completion of arrangements, proper monitoring at all centres, and seamless logistical support on the examination day. Special emphasis was laid on facilitating candidates and ensuring that no inconvenience is caused to them.
The ADC instructed all stakeholders to remain in close coordination and ensure that all necessary arrangements are put in place well in advance for the smooth conduct of the NEET-2026 examination across all six centres in Budgam district.
