DODA, JUNE 23: On the directions of the Director Health Services Jammu Dr. Poonam Sethi and under the guidance of Chief Medical Officer Doda Dr. Vinod Sharma, a Blood Donation Camp was organized today at CHC Thathri in collaboration with GMC Doda.
The camp was inaugurated by Block Medical Officer Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Kichloo. The initiative received an encouraging response from the public, resulting in the collection of 22 units of blood. A significant contribution was made by Army personnel, who actively participated in blood donation, reflecting their spirit of selfless service and commitment towards the welfare of society, including the healthcare workers who also contributed towards this noble mission.
Commanding Officer 26 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) also visited the camp and appreciated the efforts of the Health Department and all contributors for the noble humanitarian initiative.
BMO Dr. Kichloo expressed gratitude to all donors and stakeholders whose wholehearted support ensured the successful conduct of the camp.
The programme served as a testament to the collective commitment of the Health Department, Armed Forces and the community towards saving precious lives and promoting social responsibility.
