BANDIPORA SEPTEMBER 19: Government Degree College Sumbal on Thursday organized a thought-provoking discussion on ‘Importance of Vote’ to highlight the critical role of voting in the democratic process.
The event, held under the patronage of Principal, Prof. Shabeena Iqbal, aimed to encourage students to actively engage in civic responsibilities.
The discussion, moderated by Dr. Manzoor Ahmad Parey, Assistant Professor saw enthusiastic participation from students who expressed their views on the significance of voting and its impact on society. Participants shared insights on how informed voting can lead to meaningful change and the importance of being active citizens.
The Principal, while addressing the gathering, emphasized on the need for young people to understand their rights and responsibilities as voters. She encouraged students to educate themselves about the electoral process inspiring them to recognize the power of their vote.
