SHOPIAN, OCTOBER 21: Municipal Council (MC) Shopian today dedicated community water purifier at Clock Tower chowk in Shopian town to the public.
The Deputy Commissioner (DC), Shopian, Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar inaugurated the community water purifier complex in the presence of MC officers and officials and local business and traders fraternity.
This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to improve accessibility of potable water for the commuters, transporters and local businesses, thereby accelerating the public health betterment.
While speaking on the occasion, the DC said that this initiative aims to provide clean and safe drinking water to the commuters, addressing concerns related to water quality and public health.
