DAJGUA campaign deepens impact in Kishtwar on day 6

KISHTWAR, JUNE 20: The “Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan” (DAJGUA) campaign continued its transformative journey on Day 6 in District Kishtwar, holding a vibrant outreach camp at Nalla Chandali, Block Drabshalla.

The initiative reaffirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to inclusive growth and the uplift of tribal population through doorstep delivery of services and real-time grievances redressal.

The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from tribal residents, locals and community stakeholders, creating a vibrant atmosphere of engagement and awareness.

A comprehensive overview of the DAJGUA campaign was shared with attendees, emphasizing its focus on saturating Government Welfare Schemes across remote tribal areas.

Key government departments including Agriculture, Health, ICDS, Social Welfare, Revenue, Sheep Husbandry, Horticulture, Fisheries, AYUSH, Rural Development, Forest and Jal Jeevan Mission set up informative stalls to showcase their flagship schemes. Beneficiaries were provided with on-the-spot assistance, services and awareness about entitlements.

The AYUSH and Rural Development Departments distributed IEC pamphlets, while the Forest Department led a tree plantation drive to promote environmental awareness.

Additionally, seeds were distributed under the Poshan Vatika initiative to encourage nutritional self-reliance.

The Jal Shakti Department conducted on-the-spot water quality testing, while the Social Welfare Department provided notebooks to schoolchildren, supporting educational endeavors in the region.

The event concluded on a high note with cultural performances by local students, showcasing tribal heritage and fostering a spirit of unity and pride among the community.
