Srinagar, Dec 17 : Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam, Srinagar, has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the passing of its esteemed member, Khalid Fazili, a distinguished son of the soil a close associate of the Mirwaiz family, and former Hydraulics Engineer.
Fazili, who originally hailed from Nawab Bagh, Baghwanpora, Srinagar, was residing in the United States at the time of his demise.
In a condolence message issued on behalf of its President to the news agency, Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr. Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, and other members, the Anjuman paid rich tributes to Mr. Fazili for his dedicated and selfless service to the institution and society. The late Fazili was particularly lauded for his contributions toward providing financial aid and scholarships to underprivileged students studying in educational institutions managed by the Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam.
The Anjuman described his demise as a significant loss and extended its heartfelt condolences, sympathy, and solidarity to his children, family members, and the entire Fazili family. The organization prayed to Allah (SWT) to grant the departed soul the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and to bestow patience and strength upon the bereaved family during this difficult time
