SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 06: Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly on Wednesday paid rich tributes to former MLA Kulgam (1962-1967), Mohammad Yaqoob Bhat.
Speaker, Abdul Rahim Rather, led the House in offering homage to late Yaqoob Bhat. All the legislators observed two minute silence as a token of respect for the noble soul.
Pertinently, the JK Legislative Assembly had already paid rich tributes to 57 prominent legislators in the house yesterday, who have left for heavenly abode since the last session of the Assembly held in 2018.
Remembering the former MLA, the Speaker said that the he worked earnestly towards growth and development of Kulgam especially welfare of downtrodden people of the area.
