UDHAMPUR, DECEMBER 13: One-day awareness-cum-registration camp was organized by the JPDCL Department, Udhampur, under the Prime Minister Surya Ghar-Muft Bijli Yojana.
The event was held under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai, here at DC Office Complex.
The camp aimed to educate residents about the scheme’s benefits while facilitating on-the-spot registrations. The PM Surya Ghar-Muft Bijli Yojana focuses on promoting rooftop solar panel installations, offering subsidies to households for affordable and sustainable energy solutions.
During the event, officers from JPDCL sensitized the public about the scheme, highlighting its transformative potential. They emphasized the significant role of the initiative in reducing electricity costs while promoting environmental sustainability. Residents were urged to take full advantage of this scheme to benefit from cost-effective and eco-friendly energy solutions.
