POONCH, JUNE 14: Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal today inaugurated a capacity building training programme for Master Trainers and Helpdesk staff to facilitate the rollout of e-Office up to the Tehsil and Block level.

Addressing the participants, the DC said “e-Office is the need of the hour. It brings greater efficiency, transparency and accountability to government functioning and must be implemented in mission mode up to the grassroots level.”

The training session was conducted by District Informatics Officer, NIC Parvinder Singh and Ieshan Sharma, ICT Support from JAKEGA. The session covered key components of the e-Office system, including file movement, workflow automation, digital approvals, and system troubleshooting.

A total of 44 employees from different departments attended the training, marking a significant step towards decentralized implementation of the e-Office system across the district.

Parvinder Singh expressed gratitude to all participants for their enthusiastic participation and reaffirmed the commitment of NIC to provide continuous technical support during the rollout process.

This training marks a pivotal move toward transforming administrative operations into a more paperless, efficient, and citizen-centric system, in line with the broader objectives of the Digital India initiative.
