BUDGAM, JUNE 20: Continuing its outreach initiative for inclusive development, Dharti Aabha Jhanbaghidari Abhiyan was successfully conducted for the second consecutive day at Panchayat Frestwar, village Shalnar, a remote tribal area under Block Khansahib.

The Abhiyan aims at ensuring cent percent saturation of government schemes across 25 intervention areas spanning 17 line departments, with a special focus on tribal communities.

During the Gram Sabha held as part of the programme, representatives from all concerned departments participated actively. Each department briefed the attendees about various welfare schemes and interventions, addressing the eligibility criteria and current gaps in coverage.

The departments also assured timely facilitation of services wherever saturation was yet to be achieved.
The event witnessed increased participation from the tribal community. Locals welcomed the initiative and highlighted the importance of such outreach programmes in bridging the gap between governance and grassroots needs. They also apprised officials of specific local issues and requirements.

On-spot registration for various schemes including PMAY-G (housing for all), Kisan Credit Cards (KCC), Swadesh Darshan Guest Homes, Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP), Jal Jeevan Mission (FHTCs), and PMJAY (health cards) was carried out, ensuring direct benefit to the attendees.
