JAMMU, AUGUST 11: Director Health Services Jammu Dr Abdul Hamid Zargar today visited Community Health Centre RS Pura District Jammu to monitor health care services being provided to the public.

Member Legislative Assembly RS Pura Dr Narinder Singh Raina and Director were welcomed by Block Medical Officer RS Pura Dr Balwinder Singh.

The Director took an extensive round of the hospital to assess its working. He visited all the sections including OPD, IPD, labour room, Wards, laboratory, Store, X-Ray and Dental Section.

The Director interacted with medical consultants, doctors and paramedical staff, emphasising the importance of punctuality, discipline and maintaining a proper dress code while discharging their duties. DHS also interacted with the patients in the ward and enquired about the facilities being provided to them. He directed staff to work with dedication and accountability, ensuring all services are delivered efficiently and professionally. The Director expressed satisfaction over the functioning of the hospital and directed the staff to continue working with dedication, zeal and passion.

The MLA projected issues related to the hospital regarding shortage of staff as the block falls under border area and requires maximum staff to deal with any exigency. The Director assured every possible action at his end at the earliest.

The visit reflected the Health Department’s commitment to monitoring healthcare delivery on the ground level, improving infrastructure and ensuring that government health schemes reach every deserving citizen in remote areas.
