DODA, SEPTEMBER 23: The spirit of Sewa Parv 2025 celebration continues to resonate across District Doda with a series of green, clean, and wellness initiatives organised today by the Ayush and the Forest Departments.

The programs highlighted community service, environmental sustainability, and public health awareness, engaging officials, staff and local residents alike.

The Ayush Department observed Sewa Parv, Poshan Maah, and Swachhta Pakhwada in all 29 Ayush institutions (AAMs/GADs) of the district under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh and Director Ayush J&K, Dr. Suresh Sharma. The activities included plantation drives, cleanliness campaigns, diet and nutrition awareness programs, and Ayush wellness camps. Supervised by District Ayush Officer Dr. Ajay Tickoo, the initiative reflected the department’s commitment to health, wellness and sustainable living.

Similarly, the Forest Division Doda joined the district-wide celebrations, conducting plantation drives to promote ecological balance and awareness programs focusing on forest conservation.

Officials, staff members and community members came together to reaffirm the importance of environmental responsibility and sustainable development.

The combined efforts of the twin departments showcased harmony between nature, health, and society while embodying the true essence of Sewa Parv—service to people, service to nature and service for a healthier tomorrow.
