SHOPIAN, AUGUST 05: Rural Development department Keller Shopian in collaboration with NGO, Chinar International and a group of volunteers today held a sanitation drive, ‘Clean Up’ at the tourist resort of Kolar Keller.
Officials of BDO Office Keller, members of Chinar International and various volunteers participated in the drive aimed to clean up the tourist spot from the accumulated waste, posing threat to the serene environment.
The drive also aimed to educate the picnickers and visitors about the irresponsible dumping of waste and the need to uphold ethical sanitation values while on picnicking.
The participants engaged in the drive wholeheartedly and the collected waste was properly transported for further disposal.
