JAMMU, MARCH 18: The N-CORD Committee of the Government College of Education, Jammu, organized a symposium on the topic “Tobacco and Its Ill Effects”.
The event aimed to raise awareness about the harmful impacts of tobacco on health and society.
The program was graced by Principal of the college Dr. Jyoti Parihar, who encouraged students to stay away from tobacco and lead a healthy lifestyle.
The symposium witnessed active participation by students.
Sayushi secured the 1st position, Shiwali stood 2nd and Meenali bagged the 3rd position in the competition.
The cultural segment featured a poem recitation by Nandani Sharma and an impressive shayari presentation by Shivani Thakur, both adding creative expression to the message against tobacco use.
Later, a pledge was taken by staff members and students.
