GDC Kastigarh organizes mass recitation under special phase of 150 years of Vande Mataram celebrations

DODA, MARCH 23: Government Degree College Kastigarh today organized a mass recitation of Vande Mataram in the college premises with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.

The programme witnessed the active participation of students, faculty members and non-teaching staff, aiming to instil a sense of national pride, unity and respect for the nation, while paying tribute to the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for India’s independence.

The event commenced with the gathering of participants on the college campus, where the recitation of Vande Mataram was conducted in a disciplined and synchronized manner. The entire campus resonated with patriotic fervour as voices united in honour of the national song, creating an inspiring and emotionally uplifting atmosphere.

Faculty members, on the occasion, highlighted the historical significance of Vande Mataram and its pivotal role during India’s freedom movement. They encouraged students to imbibe the values of patriotism, unity & dedication and to contribute positively towards nation-building, while also emphasizing the importance of preserving cultural heritage.

It is pertinent to mention that the special phase of Vande Mataram celebrations will be observed in the college from March 23 to March 30, 2026, featuring a series of activities to promote awareness and strengthen the spirit of nationalism among students.
