Govt P.G College Rajouri organised various activities on Road safety

RAJOURI, JANUARY 24: Extension Lecturers and Awareness rally was organized by the Road SAFETY CLUB in collaboration with the NSS Unit of the GOVT. PG COLLEGE RAJOURI under the able guidance of the Principal Dr. KK Sharma .The convener of the Road safety club, Dr. Shakeel Ahmed gave an awareness lecture to the students regarding the road safety measures and the importance of traffic rules. The NSS Program officer, Prof. Khaleeq Ahmed Qazi also spoke on the occasion and discussed how adopting road safety measures can reduce accidents and fatalities caused by road accidents

The extension lectures were followed by a mega awareness rally which was flagged off by the worthy Principal, Dr. KK Sharma . The students came with the beautiful placards conveying the messages through slogans like SAY NO TO DRINK AND DRIVE, FASTEN THE SEAT BELTS PRIOR TO DRIVING, OBEY TRAFFIC RULES. The rally started from the main gate of the college to GMC and Associated Hospital and back to college after spreading awareness message regarding road safety to the common people . The rally was accompanied by the other faculty members which included, Dr. Zakir Husain, Dr. Zulfiqar Ali, Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed, Dr. Mukesh Kumar, Dr. Azar Javid, Professor Altaf Ahmed, Professor Ram Kishore.
