DODA NOVEMBER 12: In a proud moment for Doda District, the Chief Education Officer Parkash Lal Thapa flagged off 15 talented students to represent the district at the Divisional Level Kala Utsav being held in Jammu.
These students, selected from various schools across the district, will showcase their artistic skills in music, dance, visual arts, and theatre.
They will compete alongside their peers from other districts in Jammu, vying for an opportunity to represent the region at the state and national levels. Doda’s education community and Samagra Shiksha extended their best wishes to the participants as they embark on this journey to bring laurels to the district.
Kala Utsav, organized annually under the Samagra Shiksha initiative, is a national platform dedicated to nurturing young talent in the arts. The program aims to foster cultural pride, boost confidence, and promote inclusive education by recognizing artistic achievements. Through competitions at district, UT, and national levels, Kala Utsav celebrates India’s rich cultural heritage and encourages students to express their creativity.
Addressing the students, the CEO commended them for their dedication and talent, emphasizing the importance of Kala Utsav in promoting holistic development through cultural education.
