Jammu February 26th:- National Conference former MLA and State Vice President Women Wing JKNC. Mrs Bimla Luthra addressed a women workers meeting at Village Kothe Slad in R.S Pura. The meeting was organized by Bharti Devi.
While addressing the meeting Mrs Bimla Luthra said that party stands by its politics of truth and remains steadfast on its commitments made with the public. The party’s agenda has always been in line with peace and progress of Jammu and Kashmir.
Mrs Luthra said the women should get equal rights and opportunities to participate in the democratic institutions and also in other fields as they are second to none. She also urged women to come forward and play their crucial role in the decision making bodies.She said that National Conference is the only party which firmly stands for peace, prosperity and unity of Jammu and Kashmir. She listed out various initiatives taken by National Conference from time to time for the empowerment of women particularly living in far flung areas.
