A detailed review was conducted of the requirement and availability of breeder, foundation and certified seed for major agricultural crops to ensure timely supply of quality seed to farmers during the ensuing Rabi season. Crop-wise seed demand, production targets and measures for strengthening coordination between the Agriculture Department and SKUAST-Jammu for efficient seed planning and distribution were also discussed.
