JKAACL hosts musical evening “Sham E Ghazal” at Abhinav Theatre Jammu

JAMMU, FEBRUARY 24: Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art Culture and Languages (JKAACL) on Saturday organised a musical evening “Sham E Ghazal” at Abhinav Theatre Jammu  featuring presentations by Dr. Kewal Samnotra, a child specialist by profession.

He enthralled the audience present in the auditorium with his captivating voice. He sang the famous poetry of local poets. He was equally supported by Mukti Talwar and Dr Chanchal Sharma with  their scintillating performance.

The singers were equally supported by Rakesh Jasotra on flute Vicky Gill on synthesizer, Sanjay Pashi on guitar and Vijay Anand on tabla.

Earlier, Bharat Singh, Secretary, JKAACL in his welcome address said that the Academy has reached to every nook and corner of Jammu in search of talent and were given template form to showcase their talent. Principal Secretary Culture Department Suresh Gupta,  shared the Presidium as chief guest. He expressed that Academy is doing commendable work in the field of art and culture.

The distinguish personalities present in the Auditorium included Khalid Hussain, Seema Anil Sehgal, Anil Sehgal, Aslam Qureshi, Khurshid Kazmi and others.- Dr Shahnawaz Editor Cum Culture officer JKAACL  presented vote of thanks.
