BARAMULLA, AUGUST 06: In a significant step towards fostering youth empowerment, self-reliance, and entrepreneurship in Jammu & Kashmir, district administration Baramulla, under the ambitious Mission YUVA (MY) initiative, today distributed loan sanction letters among 35 young and aspiring entrepreneurs from across the district.
The distribution event held at the DC office conference hall was also attended by the LDM Baramulla, Assistant Director Employment, other senior administration and bank officials.
Speaking on the occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Baramulla congratulated the beneficiaries and lauded the efforts of Mission YUVA for providing a robust platform for the youth of Jammu & Kashmir to transform their entrepreneurial dreams into reality.
He urged the beneficiaries to make the most of the opportunity by utilizing the funds judiciously, maintaining transparency in their business practices, and creating employment for others as they grow.
The sanctioned loans, extended through various financial institutions in coordination with the District Employment & Counselling Centre and other line departments, will help the youth kick-start or expand their business ventures.
Officers present on the occasion highlighted the importance of the successful implementation of Mission YUVA and urged beneficiaries to utilize the sanctioned loans wisely to build stable and respectable income-generating ventures.
