Mission Yuva: Udyam Jagriti 4.0 campaign in swing across Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, OCTOBER 4: The progress under Mission Yuva and the implementation of ongoing Udyam Jagriti 4.0 campaign in Kishtwar District was reviewed today at meeting chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner Pawan Kotwal and attended by SBDU Members and BHD heads, resource persons from Government Degree Colleges, Polytechnic College, and ITI along with BPMs from NRLM.

The ADC reviewed the coverage under Udyam Jagriti 4.0 campaign and directed the resource persons to reach out to each student of their respective institutions by next week.

The campaign aims to motivate students towards self-employment and raise awareness about the government schemes promoting entrepreneurship and youth empowerment.

The ADC also reviewed the performance of NRLM and instructed the BPMs to rope in each woman associated with Self-Help Groups (SHGs).

He highlighted that women’s participation is a key component of Mission Yuva and is essential for building a strong local entrepreneurial ecosystem.

While reviewing the pendency of cases at the bank level, the ADC directed the concerned bank officials to monitor the sanctioning and disbursement processes regularly and ensure that all approved cases are finalized without delay. He further took stock of the verification status of business project proposals at the BHD level. He directed the ACR and all SDMs to fast-track the verification process, enabling timely processing at the SBDU level and subsequent DLIC approvals.

The meeting was attended by ACR Kishtwar, Mohd Idrees Lone; SDM Paddar, Dr. Amit Bhagat; SDM Chatroo, Nayeem-ul-Rehman; AD Employment, Shafqat Keen; officers from the Employment Department; representatives from NRLM and other concerned officials.
