Budgam, Nov 26,: Peoples Democratic Party leader Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi Tuesday said that he has filed an application under the Right to Information Act and has also written to Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, regarding ‘irregularities’ in the Block Development Office of Central Kashmir’s Budgam.
Mehdi claimed to have received numerous complaints from locals about irregularities in various schemes, including Individual Household Latrine, Job Cards and Household Registrations, MGNREGA Works Execution, Waste Collection Status under Swachh Bharat Mission, and utilization of 14th Finance Commission savings.
The PDP leader expressed concerns about the lack of transparency and accountability in the Block Development Office, affecting the welfare of the community.
Mehdi said that he has urged the Divisional Commissioner to intervene and support fostering transparency and community welfare.
