The course will cover all key aspects of tailoring women’s garments, including stitching, measurements, machine handling, and finishing. The initiative aims to promote sustainable livelihood options and economic empowerment for rural women in Ramban.

The programme was formally launched by Director, SBI RSETI Ramban S. Harvinder Singh, in the presence of local dignitaries, community members, and enthusiastic women participants. The event witnessed strong community support and participation.

In his address, the Director emphasized the role of skill-based training in fostering self-reliance among women. He encouraged the trainees to utilize the opportunity to gain practical skills and become financially independent.
He also briefed the participants about the government schemes like the MUDRA Loan Scheme, PMSBY, PMJJBY, and APY. He elaborated on their benefits, eligibility, and how these schemes could support their entrepreneurial journeys.
