KULGAM, MAY 03: Government Degree College (GDC) Frisal in collaboration with district administration Kulgam, today organised a Seminar on ‘Drug Addiction: A Curse,’ under the banner of IEC Campaign against Drug Abuse-2025, within the college premises here.
Principal of the College, Dr.Ishtiyaq Ahmad Shah in his introductory speech emphasized the role of educational institutions against drug addiction.
Drug Control Officer Kulgam, Dr Mustafa, the resource person from district administration highlighted the technical points about drug addiction.
Prof. Mehnaza Jan, resource person from Anti- Drug Addiction Cell of the college, deliberated on the importance of holding such programs in educational institutions vis-a-vis controlling the menace of drug addiction in the society.
In addition to staff members and students of the College many guests from civil society, district administration and Deptt. of Social Welfare Kulgam attended the program.
