REASI, MARCH 16: Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Kumar Abhishek today chaired a meeting to review the stock and supply position of petroleum products in the district.

During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner took a detailed review of the availability of petrol, diesel and LPG cylinders, the operational status of petrol pumps and the overall supply chain mechanism to ensure uninterrupted availability of fuel to consumers.

The DC observed that adequate stocks of petrol, diesel and LPG are available across the district and supplies are continuing smoothly without any disruption. He directed the concerned officers to maintain close coordination to ensure timely replenishment and smooth distribution of petroleum products.

He also instructed the Sub-Divisional Magistrates and other officers to maintain strict vigilance against hoarding, black-marketing or overcharging of petroleum products and LPG cylinders. Legal Metrology and enforcement teams were directed to intensify inspections at fuel stations and LPG outlets to ensure compliance with regulations and safeguard consumer interests.

The general public has been advised not to believe or circulate rumors and to refrain from panic buying or unnecessary stockpiling of fuel and LPG cylinders.
