ANANTNAG, AUGUST 14: Following a cloudburst incident at Gawran, a team of senior officers from District Administration Anantnag led by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Dr. Muzamil Maqbool immediately visited the Gawran Village where two boys lost their lives in the unfortunate incident that occurred on Thursday evening.
The ADC was also accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR), Tariq Ahmad Malik, Tehsildar Larnoo, Syed Muiz Qadri, police officers and other officials.
During the visit, the ADC consoled the grieving families and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls. He expressed solidarity with the affected family members in this hour of grief and extended heartfelt condolences to them.
Interacting with the affected families, the team of officers assured them of all possible support and relief from the administration.
Later, the team visited the healthcare facility where the injured are currently undergoing treatment. The officers inquired about their well-being and instructed the healthcare authorities to ensure the best possible medical care is provided to them.
