KISHTWAR, JUNE 19: Additional Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Pawan Kotwal today chaired a meeting of the District-Level Committee constituted to address issues related to the sale and regulation of milk and milk products in the district.
Following representations submitted by milk producers, dairy farmers and sellers of milk and dairy products, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar had constituted the committee under the chairmanship of the ADC, comprising representatives from Food Safety, FCS&CA, Legal Metrology and other departments concerned.
The ADC directed representatives of milk producers and dairy product sellers to form a duly registered association with a President, Vice-President and other office bearers in accordance with prescribed procedure, noting that a representative body would facilitate effective coordination with the administration and ensure proper regulation of the sector.
