KULGAM, SEPTEMBER 30: Deputy Commissioner (DC), Kulgam, Shahzad Alam today visited Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS), Tangmarg, Kulgam and reviewed the progress of various ongoing development and renovation works at the institution.
During the visit, The Deputy Commissioner took on-spot review of the renovation of the Girls’ Hostel, playfield development and renovation works of the Academic Block.
The DC directed the concerned officer associated with the execution of the works to ensure speedy progress and timely completion of the assigned works with adhering to quality norms and approved specifications.The concerned officials assured that all the ongoing works will be completed by November 15, 2026.
The DC also interacted with students and staff members and enquired the teaching learning process and took appraisal of the functioning of the different services and amenities in the institution.
The DC was accompanied by the Chief Planning Officer (CPO), Malik Suheel, Superintending Engineer (SE) Fayaz Ahmad Kar, and other concerned officers and officials.
