DODA, AUGUST 12: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda Krishan Lal chaired a meeting of the Health Sector today here in the Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex Doda to assess the status of healthcare services and implementation of the health programmes and infrastructure projects in the district.
At the outset, Chief Medical Officer Dr Vinod Sharma, presented an indicator-wise overview of the progress achieved under various agenda items and apprised the meeting about the status of key health programmes and schemes being implemented across the district.
The meeting reviewed the progress under District Capex Budget, UT Capex Budget, Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY SEHAT Scheme, HMIS, National TB Elimination Programme (NTEP), Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), PM-ABHIM, JSY/JSSK, Family Welfare, NCD Programme, PMNDP, Oxygen Plants, RBSK and staff position.
The DDC reviewed the agenda point-wise and took detailed feedback from the concerned officers regarding the physical and financial progress, implementation status, bottlenecks and requirements under various programmes and projects.
The DDC directed the concerned executing agencies and departments to expedite the implementation of works sanctioned under District Capex and UT/State Capex and ensure that the works are taken up and completed within the stipulated timelines as per the approved mandates and guidelines.
The meeting also reviewed the progress of the National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) in the district. The DDC stressed the need for sustained efforts towards quality improvement, strengthening of health facilities and ensuring compliance with the prescribed NQAS standards to facilitate successful assessments and improve the quality of patient care.
The DDC further directed the concerned officers to maintain close monitoring of all health indicators, ensure effective implementation of government health schemes and programmes and address gaps on priority for strengthening healthcare delivery across the district.
The meeting was attended by the CPO, ACD, Executive Engineers of R&B, Dy CMO, BMOs, DHO, AD Planning Health, Construction Engineers of HSCC and other concerned officers and officials from health and other departments.
