RAMBAN, MARCH 23: In preparation for upcoming General Elections to Lok Sabha-2024, scheduled for April 19, 2024, in district Ramban, an intensive awareness drive is underway under the guidance of the District Election Officer, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary.
Various informative and innovative activities are being organized to sensitize voters and motivate them to exercise their right to franchise in the first phase of elections for the 04- Parliamentary Constituency Udhampur.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Varunjeet Singh Charak, today flagged off publicity vehicle dedicated to the Systematic Voters’ Education & Electoral Participation (SVEEP) initiative from the premises of the District Administrative Complex here.
Addressing the media, the ADC highlighted the significance of the initiative, stating that the vehicle will traverse through areas of Banihal and Ramban constituencies with historically low voter turnout.
Additional Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of voter participation in establishing a reliable government chosen by the people.
