*JKTA holds high level meet many trade union leaders joined Association*

The Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Association held a high level meet at Jammu. This event was poised to be a significant platform for the association to articulate and advocate for the rights, welfare, and professional growth of teachers across all levels.
Addressing the meeting Bhupinder Singh UT President JKTA said that at the forefront of the association’s agenda well-being of the teaching community.
A prominent concern to be brought to the fore is the formulation of a comprehensive transfer policy for Rehbar-e-Taleem (RET) Teachers who are working in the same location for 24 years. The Association demanded UT Pay grade at par with the other UTs for all the employees, Timely Annual Transfer Drive for teachers at all levels at the end of the session. The JKTA also demanded expediting the completion of pending Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) cases for masters and Lecturers and timely approval of the pending mutual transfer cases.
 He added that The Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Association remains resolute in its commitment to fostering an environment that supports the professional and personal growth of teachers of all levels.
Bhupinder Singh further said that our association is working on the five point agenda like Character Building in schools, Management education, Teacher Education, Environmental awareness and Promotion and documentation of indigenous languages and cross cultures besides our perennial and non perennial demands which we put forth before the public. These components have gained a lot of results among the stakeholders.
At the event senior Trade union Leader Ishaq Rashid Malik from District Doda who worked as District President erstwhile RET forum as well as Provincial Vice President JKTF, and Senior Leader Naresh Megwan JKTJAC senior executive Shafket Koka from Zone Bhatyas and Joginder Singh from Asser today Joined the JKTA in the presence of UT president JKTA Bhupinder Singh. The newly joined leaders expressed their faith in the working and belief of the JKTA. The Joining of the new members signals a collective faith in the principles and beliefs championed by the JKTA. The leadership of JKTA adorned the newly joined members with garlands during a ceremony. This gesture not only signifies the unity and solidarity among the members but also depicts the JKTA’s mission for teachers and students welfare.
