The programme was presided over by the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat under the aegis of Mission YUVA, aiming to build a strong network of grassroots youth mobilizers for entrepreneurship development.

Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Srinagar, Rifat Aftab, Chief Planning Officer, Fayaz Ahmad Dar, Deputy Director Employment, Dr. Sheeba Inayat, other concerned Officers and members of Small Business Development Units (SBDUs) and Business Help Desks (BHDs) Committees attended the training programme.

He also encouraged Yuva Doots to act as catalysts of positive change within their communities.

While highlighting the importance of the programme, DC said that such trainings are pivotal to provide detailed insights into the operational structure of the programme, roles and responsibilities of YUVA doots and the support framework available at the district level.

He urged the YUVA doots on targeted mobilization, focusing on aspirants most likely to benefit from the initiative.

DC underlined that with a well-defined action plan and comprehensive training, YUVA doots are now equipped to begin their grassroots outreach activities, promoting entrepreneurship and youth-led development across district Srinagar under Mission YUVA initiative.

The training aimed to equip them with the knowledge, skills and tools required guiding aspiring entrepreneurs and spreading awareness about self-employment schemes under Mission YUVA.
