KISHTWAR, FEBRUARY 05: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar, Rajesh Kumar Shavan on Wednesday conducted a detailed inspection of the proposed land site for the construction of new Court Complex at Village Matta.
Accompanied by Members of the local Bar Council, Tehsildar and revenue officials, the DC assessed the site’s suitability in terms of connectivity, topography, and potential for future expansion.
The DC directed Tehsildar Kishtwar to conduct demarcation of the entire patch of land and submit a detailed proposal, including revenue documents, within two days.
The DC reiterated the importance of establishing inspection in the nearby vicinity to ensure the planned development of the area.
Pertinent to mention that the Chief Justice of JK High Court, during his visit to Kishtwar has directed the administration to identify a suitable land for the construction of the District Judicial Infrastructure.
Two sites were identified earlier but they were found not suitable. Now the DC has asked the revenue authorities to propose the sites at Matta which are found to be suitable.
