BUDGAM, SEPTEMBER 29: To assess the status of the proposed projects under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakram (PMJVK), Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Budgam, Mehraj-ud-Din Shah today chaired a comprehensive review meeting.
During the meeting, ADC took block wise stock of the progress made on the formulation and submission of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for the proposed projects. He emphasized the importance of timely and proper documentation and directed all BDOs to submit the DPRs of each project along with a complete checklist.
The checklist must include crucial elements such as land availability, feasibility reports, and department-specific approvals. This will ensure a seamless review and approval process at higher levels and accelerate the implementation phase of the projects.
ADC stressed that the proposed projects are to be drawn from key sectors including Youth Services and Sports, Health, and Education, which are pivotal to the holistic development of the district under the PMJVK mission.
Highlighting the significance of inter-departmental cooperation, ADC urged all BDOs and BMOs to work in close coordination to ensure that the objectives of the PMJVK aimed at the socio-economic empowerment of minority communities through infrastructural development are met effectively and within the stipulated time frame.
“All necessary documents, as per the checklist, must be submitted along with the DPRs to avoid any delays. PMJVK offers a unique opportunity to uplift marginalized sections through critical sectoral interventions. We must work with urgency and dedication,” ADC said.
The meeting concluded with the ADC reiterating the administration’s commitment to inclusive and sustainable development and assuring full support from the district administration for all efforts under the PMJVK framework.
The meeting was attended by, ACD, CPO, all Block Development Officers, all Block Medical Officers, and other concerned.
