Two militants killed, two cops injured in Kulgam gunfight

Kulgam: Two militants including a Pakistani were killed in South Kashmir’s Kulgam gunfight, police said on Monday.
Police said that the Khurbatapora village of Kulgam was cordoned off after receiving inputs about the presence of militants.
During the search operation, contact with militants was established leading to a gunfight. During the exchange of fire two militants were killed while two men from the counter-militant Special Operation Group sustained injuries. They were shifted to hospital for treatment.
Police in a tweet quoting IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said that one Pakistani militant (code name Chacha) & one hybrid militant were killed in Khurbatapora encounter. Police informed that two Police Personnel were also injured and they are being evacuated to hospital. (KNT)
